Memorial Day Weekend...we had a BBQ at the house...hubby was home for 5 days!!

Memaws pretty Abbey after a bath...my little quacker...This was too funny not to post...Alexander wanted to play the piano...so I went about doing something else and heard him playing. Then all of the sudden I heard hep Memaw hep (he cant say his L's yet) and this is what I saw...I could only laugh...and get the camera of course!!This was taken this morning before leaving for the sitters and work...I didnt see him anywhere and then I saw him move...he was loving up on his dog...
And last but not least for the day...this is how I woke up! I have no recollection of this 'accident' except that Alexander bumped my eyebrow with his sippy cup wanting a refill and Abigail trying to pull my nose off while trying to go to sleep...the battles of being a Memaw...I WIN EVERYTIME!!! Until then...love!

Going through photos last night and found a few that made me laugh, cry and wonder WHY in the world did I start coloring my hair!! Laugh with me please...and cry if you must but this is my world and my memories...my friends...

Well, its been another week...another weekend...babies are growing...and so is the grass ( killed another copperhead last night)!! Work is work, everyone is healthy and God is SO GOOD TO ME!! Here are a few pictures taken at various times...

This is a picture of myself and my Aunt Linda...my momma's sister! I saw her at the deli @ Wal-Mart the other day!

Abigail is so funny...right before this picture you would have thought I dropped her on her head! When you sit her down...immediately she begins to throw a fit...real tears even...she is quite the drama queen...so she finally decided about a minute later...oh cool...my feet...she played with them about 20 minutes In the country...we have the liberty of breaking the law! hehehehe...seriously...since Alexander was a baby he has helped us drive down the road and down the driveway. Since we live on a very low traffic road...it works out very good. This photo was taken while driving back from taking the trash and Alexander and Buddy were catching a cool breeze coming in from the window...This picture is obviously of Alexander playing in the dirt. Now I know that kids automatically learn how to do this on their own. However, this planter was full of old buttercups and I cleaned it out and put my mother's day flower in it. The dirt was so fresh and smelled so good! I got Alexander's cars out and showed him what fun he could have...now it is so cute when he wants to play in the "durt"...then if I am not watching...he will come and get me and show me his accomplishments...I know Alexander is too young to remember the memories we are sharing right now and that is partly why I am taking so many photos of everyday events...I have to say that eating Angel Food cake on the front porch is pricelss to me!! I hope he enjoys them someday too...

Here is a picture of baby Abigail swinging...she loves to swing in the big swing...she can work those gums too...multi task...Abbey hanging out with Nana at the 25th Anniversary get together!And with Bobby too...And last but not least for the day...my sister...the saint...she told me to quit putting that on my blog...she doesnt see her potential...but she truly is my best friend and my hero!! I LOVE YOU MELISSA!! Dont you love it when people take your picture when you are eating!

Country Copperhead

Got home yesterday to mow the grass and had been around this mower for 15 minutes or so...took off and stopped to get a dog chain out of the way (would not have went well with the blades) and turned back to resume and this DEVIL poked his head out and said "come on back and I will bite your butt!"

My son came to the rescue and put this beast out of our misery (then chased me with it). This was the second copperhead to be seen in about 9 years of my living here, the other one was over 6 ft long the day of my back surgery in 2002!

My hubby had told me not to get on 'his mower' (mine is broke) but I didnt listen...he said, "see when you disobey your husband you almost get snake bit"...hahaha!

Random Moments to note!

Since I havent blogged in a while...I have many blessings in my life to note!

Who would have thought so much love could be in such little packages...this is THE greatest love story of my life!!

My beautiful daughter Kelly...spent the day with her Sunday...she is quite the cook and she loves her neice Autumn!

I have the greatest sister on THE PLANET! She is a saint you know...she is being crowned a queen here!

This is my dear friend Brother Dave Rich! He was actually my first pastor many years ago and I have had the privilege of connecting with him after almost 30 years. He is truly a blessing to me!
