New family members

Oh my goodness...we have two new family members...

Harley and Lugnut...how country is that!! They are so stinking cute and even cute when they cried!! Alexander had a blast chasing them and washing their food. He has to learn how to take care of them.

Sweetpea liked them too...she kept a vigil beside them until I made her come in the house. The horses didnt know exactly what to think about them but apparently they got along fabulously. My horse...Pepe...kept licking them and they stayed by the fence all night long.

Abigail will have her share of duties too when she gets a little bigger but for now...she will just work on being cute!!

Fellowship- Country Style

We live in the best part of TN!!! I wouldnt have said that 15 years ago..thought it was the boondocks...but now...I cant imagine living anywhere else!

We had our church fellowship time this weekend at my sister's home...yummy yummy, there was a party in my tummy!!

Uncle Don and Gran Barb were there...

So was Brother Huddleston...

Look at their garden...yum yum...oh yeah and Stanley in the middle...he is crazy you know...hehehehehe

Princess Abigail tried strawberries and fresh corn on the cob...right from the garden Prince Alexander played with everything from stick to Bambi

Fun times

I have the best grandbabies on the planet...yep I do!! We spend a lot of fun times together...they make me laugh and smile all the time. They are full of joy and always having a good time with Memaw...here are a few photos of the past few days... This one was on the way home from Sunday school...my little prince!

Birthday - Fourth of July - Anniversary 2009

WOW, what a great weekend it was. First of all, I had off Friday the 3rd from work because the 4th fell on the weekend...AND Hubby came home too!! We went out to dinner at Jay Birds with Uncle Don Gran Barb Melissa (my hero) & StanleyAlexander and Abigail...had a fabulous time...ate too much (always do).

Then we just hung out around the house on Saturday and decided to go to Tip A Canoe down the Narrows of the Harpeth

We had a blast and will make that a tradition I hope! The water was down and several times we had to pick up the canoe. Then about 1/4 mile to the end...the rain came down...AND hubby decided (he was in the front at this point) to dip into the river real deep and throw it on me...about 15 times...I was more than soaked. Then hubby fell into a mud hole...FUNNY!!! We laughed so hard and had a great time.

The babies came over and we played and they gave me the greatest gifts...Kelly and Dougie got me about 24 gourmet cupcakes...yummy yummy...my babies got me a heart locket necklace of which now contains their perfect pictures, Justin and Wendy got me an Elvis CD collection and a movie and hubby got me a laptop...oh yeah...God is good to me!
